COE is pleased to open nominations for the 2020 National Student Leadership Congress — an immersive leadership experience for rising high school juniors and seniors who participate in Talent Search, Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math-Science! This year’s event will take place at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., from Saturday, June 13-18, 2020.
Only 180 students will be accepted into the program. Because we aim to provide students from all states and American territories the opportunity to immerse themselves in a premier leadership experience, COE will only accept four (4) students per institution. Additionally, this year COE is implementing a student application process. Once a nomination form has been submitted, nominators will receive a link to the student application form. In addition to having a 3.0 GPA, students must submit a 300-500 word essay, resume, and teacher recommendation. Applications are due on March 1.
On Thursday, January 16 at 4:00 p.m. (Eastern), COE will host a webinar to provide a program overview of National Student Leadership Congress, including the nomination process, the student application process and the program agenda.
