Jen Rudolph

Associate Vice-President for Pre-College and State Initiatives

Department: Program and Professional Development

Jen has been working to help teenagers navigate their paths through education and life for over twenty years. A bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in Human Development and Family Studies and a master’s degree in Experiential Education from Minnesota State University have provided an educational foundation that enables Jen to assist programs and people to reach their highest potential. Jen has worked in many educational environments, including college campuses, wilderness therapy programs, and summer camps. For ten years, Jen led the Pre-College Opportunity Programs at Cornell University, growing one federally funded TRIO Upward Bound grant that served 50 students in two school districts into a portfolio of programming that included two federal and one state-funded college access grant, two programming partnership grants and a dozen other outreach programs that collectively served over 800 students annually across more than a dozen school districts. She is now the Associate Vice-President of the Council for Opportunity in Education. Jen lives with her three children outside of Ithaca, NY, and she enjoys exploring natural places and appreciates rare unscheduled time.
