Growing up with parents who valued education despite their own challenges, my journey from a second-generation college student to an educational advocate highlights the power of resilience, excellence, and the belief that education can transform generations; now, as the president of COE, I’m dedicated to ensuring success for first-generation, low-income students and excited about new initiatives that extend support even beyond graduation, emphasizing the importance of education for all backgrounds.
