Hybrid P6: Management Institute for New TRIO Directors

Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, the free Management Institute assists new TRIO directors with two years or less of experience in acquiring or improving upon the knowledge and management skills necessary to administer TRIO programs. Over the two-and-a-half-day professional development experience, programs will master the governing legislation and regulations that guide your program while laying the groundwork for hiring, recruiting, and serving participants. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with a seasoned professional to serve as a mentor throughout the following months to help with inquiries learned at the Institute. If you’re a senior staff member overseeing TRIO programs with similar experience, we encourage your participation too.
