Parental Involvement

This class focuses on techniques to promote parent/guardian involvement, including communication strategies, workshops and resources, newsletters, and opportunities for engagement. It also teaches families how to ask for help, find ways to become more involved and provides TRIO professionals with strategies to build relationships of mutual trust with the families and support networks of the students we serve. This ten-day online course has no live meetings to attend but participants are required to turn in assignments and discussions on specific dates. Participants who pass this course will receive a certificate indicating their success.
