Tommy Walls serves as the Director of Alumni Relations and Career Opportunities at the Council for Opportunity in Education (COE). With over 13 years of experience in organizational leadership and youth engagement, he leads national efforts to connect TRIO alumni through advocacy, internships, and volunteerism. A proud alumnus of Upward Bound, Student Support Services, and the Ronald E. McNair Program, Tommy develops strategies that advance alumni success and oversees the National TRIO Alumni Association and TRIO Achiever Awards. His past roles include Executive Director of Communities in Schools of High Point and Assistant Vice President of Operations for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County. Tommy holds a B.A. in Social Welfare and Justice from Marquette University and an M.S.W. in Advocacy, Leadership, and Social Change from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
