Increasing Math Competency Before the APR, Part II – From Macro to Micro: Little Things That Work
August 23, 2022
Virtual
1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. ET
Math is in everything we do. There is data that correlates math success with college success. So how can we align high school and college student math success? Ideas include near-peer service learning, programming, teacher coordination, and content alignment. Two mathematicians — a former Upward Bound participant and a current Upward Bound director — will present during this two-part session. Get new methods to engage your students’ math competency, assess student growth, and add to your APR. This session will address programming options for college and pre-college programs. Presenters will provide specific examples and pre-programming with a host of resources. $350 for Members and $700 for Non-members.
