9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET
This one-day seminar assists TRIO professionals with developing best practices for equitable program evaluation. Learn about critical steps within the program evaluation process, such as creating a plan, collecting data, and using data to communicate and advocate for program improvements. Whether joining the seminar as a team or individual,** participants will have the opportunity to craft an evaluation plan for your program(s) that emphasizes program improvement and student outcomes (e.g., engagement, retention, and learning) and goes beyond standard reporting requirements such as the Annual Performance Report (APR). Participants will be able to:
- Create a working evaluation plan for your program(s) based on an equitable evaluation process.
- Recognize the various theories, methods, and approaches to evaluation.
- Understand how to evaluate to increase program improvement, student outcomes, and advocacy.
**COE encourages institutional teams or teams of TRIO professionals within an institution to develop an evaluation plan. This is an in-person meeting only.
