Legislation, Regulations, and Financial Aid

COE provides this virtual professional development for new and seasoned TRIO directors. Understanding legislation and regulations and providing excellent financial aid and literacy services are essential to running TRIO programs. This series clarifies the TRIO regulations and introduces new professionals to financial aid advising.

This Legislation, Regulations, and Financial Aid seminar quickly brings anyone up to speed. Select only the sessions that fit your schedule, or attend them all. Institutional members register for any webinar session for $400 per session, for any full day for $400 per day, or for the entire three-day seminar for $990.

The three-day seminar provides multiple sessions each day with the addition of a case study cheat sheet and access to the Financial Aid Community of Practice. The seminar package includes:

• Twelve day-long sessions (equivalent to a full-day in-person Leg-Regs workshop) that connect participants with other program leader experts;
• A two-day financial aid workshop;
• A team case study session that serves as a cheat sheet to address common financial aid questions; and
• Access the Financial Aid Community of Practice for videos, resources, and tools to assist your program’s needs.
