2022 Year in Review

In October, COE sponsored two Executive Leadership Institutes for TRIO state leaders. After a two-year hiatus due to the global pandemic, COE resumes its Executive Leadership Institute for College Opportunity Professionals with two events—one at the University of Kansas and one at the original host site of Princeton University. Sixty current and rising leaders of TRIO state and regional chapters participate in sessions on the history and impact of organized TRIO, interactive workshops on team building, and turning vision into action.

Following years of uncertainty—and a global pandemic that has proven to be one of the most challenging events in history—TRIO professionals and COE staff forged on, prepared to tackle what lay ahead. And as we continued to extract the possible from the impossible, this year taught us that our students can change the world.
